To streamline the process of managing disclosures, we’ve released Disclosure Libraries and an accompanying AI Disclosure Assistant! This update ensures that critical brand requirements are consistently applied during risk assessment, and centralizes your disclosures in Persado Portal.

With Disclosure Libraries, you can:

  • Ensure all of the appropriate disclosures are automatically applied to any asset you analyze

  • Ensure the latest and most up-to-date disclosures are used

  • Review applied disclosures at the Variant level and maintain a full audit trail of revisions

  • Generate an audit-ready package in one click to share with your marketing and legal teams for final sign off.

How to Set Up a Disclosure Library

To build your Disclosure Library, please reach out to your Persado representative with the following information per disclosure:

  • The short name you’d like to label the disclosure as

  • The disclosure text.

We’ll process these behind the scenes and stage them in your instance of Persado Portal so you can apply them in the future.

If you ever need to add, revise, or remove a disclosure, reach out to your Persado representative and we will make these changes for you in the back end! In the future, you’ll be able to manage this yourself.

Leveraging your Disclosure Library with the AI Disclosure Assistant

When Generating Variants

  1. Begin your analysis as usual by uploading your creative and providing basic details.

  2. Persado’s AI Disclosure Assistant will automatically apply disclosures from the pre-approved library, ensuring every Variant carries current, legally mandated language by default.

  3. That’s it! Proceed to reviewing your Variants as usual.

When Reviewing Variants

  1. During your analysis, you can reference the disclosures used any time by expanding the ‘Remarks’ section and reviewing the dedicated ‘Disclosures’ tab. Here, the AI Disclosure Assistant intelligently recommends disclosures per Variant.

    1. You’ll see 4 different status tags here:

      1. Verified: Confirms disclosures that are found on the creative and are correctly applied for compliance purposes.

      2. Removal: Identifies disclosures flagged for removal, which render with a strikethrough on the creative preview. These disclosures do not serve any compliance purpose and are making the creative busier and less appealing to the market for no legal or compliance benefit.

      3. AI Addition: Indicates disclosures automatically inserted from the library by the AI to eliminate compliance issues.

      4. User Addition: Highlights disclosures manually attached by the user.

  2. Review each Variant. Click on a disclosure and Portal will automatically scroll to the Variant it pertains to, and vice versa, to make for easier visual navigation. Every AI card can be individually accepted or unchecked/undone with a single click, keeping you in full control while maintaining an auditable trail.

  3. Beyond AI recommendations, you can also manually browse your full Disclosure Library by clicking ‘Add from Disclosure Library.’ This opens a dedicated modal with search capabilities, pre-applied channel/product filters, a selection counter, and duplicate prevention. Manually added disclosures appear as user "Addition" cards and are numbered consistently with the rest.

Click ‘Add’ to add any disclosures you need from the list.

  4. When you’re all set, download Variants and disclosures by clicking the ‘Download’ icon → and selecting ‘Compliance.’ This option exports selected Variants as a zip of per-Variant PDFs, each containing the final creative plus its applied disclosures section. This single click generates a clean, audit-ready package for legal sign-off and production handoff at any stage of the campaign.

  5. When your team has officially ‘Approved’ the Variants, all disclosure selections are locked: checkboxes are disabled across ‘Findings & Recommendations’ and the Disclosure Library itself. Read-only review and navigation remain fully available, giving compliance teams a tamper-proof record of exactly what was signed off. If for some reason you need to revoke approval, follow the standard steps here.
