We’ve made multiple updates to Studio to reduce day-to-day friction in your campaign workflow. You can now:
Edit your control message directly on the Variants page — No more multiple mouse clicks for changes!
Generate content from scratch with only 1 input — No more inputting filler text to meet the old requirement of 3 inputs.
Update the approval team without resubmitting — No more restarting the approval workflow from scratch. Ideal for multi-team approval workflows!
Edit your Control on the Variants Page
✖️ Previously, updating Control copy required returning to the playground, removing the Control, editing it, saving, and re-adding it to the workspace.
✅ Now, you can make this edit in 2-clicks on the Variants page the same way you’d edit any other Variant.
Go to the Variants page for any workspace.
Hover over the Control row; the edit icon appears at the top-left. Click it to make the field editable.
Type your updated copy. Press ‘Enter’ or click outside to save. Press ‘Escape’ to cancel and restore the original text.
The updated Control is reflected immediately. An "Original control has been edited" notice appears below. Hover ⓘ for context, or dismiss it anytime. This notice clears automatically when a new Variant set is pushed.
Generate from Scratch with Only 1 Input
✖️ Previously, you needed to complete at least 3 input fields before they you could generate content from scratch. For simple campaigns, such as "50% off all shorts," this requirement may have forced you to enter placeholder content just to proceed.
✅ The Generate from Scratch workflow now requires only 1 supported input to generate content. Fill in any one field and click ‘Generate.’ The workflow remains the same!

Update the Approval Team After Approvals have Been Initiated
✖️ Changing approval teams required revoking approval and restarting the full ‘Request Multiple Approvers’ flow. The campaign disappeared from the Portal queue until the process was repeated from scratch. This was especially cumbersome for multi-team workflows (e.g. Marketing creates, Copy reviews, Marketing needs Copy to re-approve after edits).
✅ Approval teams can now be updated directly via ‘Manage Teams.’ No revocation required. Changes take effect immediately in Studio and the Portal approval queue.
On the Variants page, open the ‘Approve’ dropdown and select ‘Manage Teams.’
A list of teams configured for the campaign is displayed. Add or remove teams as needed and include any comments for context. Click ‘Update Teams’ when you’re done.
Newly added teams are assigned to the approval request and receive the standard approval notification. Removed teams are unassigned immediately.
The updated team assignment is reflected in the Variants page. An audit entry is logged in the Approval Status tab of the ‘Remarks’ panel for your reference.
