Does your team prefer to work in MS Word? There are two different methods to use the Persado MCP within the MS Word desktop application: either with Copilot 365 or through Claude. Read below for how to turn on this capability and leverage it.
Copilot 365
Prerequisites: The user must have a Copilot Business license, Office 365, and the Persado Connector installed within Copilot 365.
Open the document you want to score or improve. If you know what text you want to score or improve, highlight it (if not, ignore this step). Then click on the Copilot icon on the bottom right.
Click on the + button to select the Persado Agent.
If Persado is not visible in the dropdown, select “@ All Agent”
Select Persado.
Now that the Persado agent has access to the document, ask it to score or improve your content as shown below.
If you had already highlighted the text, you can simply ask to score or improve it.
Note that this agent can only read from the document; it cannot write. Claude can both read and write.
Claude
Prerequisites: The user must have enabled the MS Word and Claude connection, and the Persado Connector must be installed within your Claude per the usual instructions. You can install it from the following screen if you “Add” Claude for Microsoft 365.
Open the document you want to score or improve, then click on the Claude icon on the top right.
Provide instructions in the chat on what content to score or improve and where to place the output.
You’ll see the following result.
