The new Teams feature in Portal creates efficiency in the overall workflow as well as approval and execution processes. You can more easily view Experiments and Predictive Content that require approval by a particular team, rather than looking through your inbox. You can also quickly see Experiments and Predictive Content that are approved and Variants ready to be pushed to your audience.
This guide covers changes the Teams feature has brought to Portal as well as how to use the Teams feature effectively.
Experiment Request Form
The only change in requesting Experiments or Predictive Content is that you must include the desired breakout teams under Teams For Approval. You will only have this option if the Persado admin has created teams and assigned users to them.
Approving Variants by Team
You can choose the team approving the Variants by clicking the ‘Approve’ dropdown. You can also approve the Variant via the release email by clicking the ‘Approve’ button. This takes you to the appropriate page in Portal.
To approve a Variant, select the team you’re on under ‘Approve.’ A comment with the approver and the time they submitted approval automatically displays in the Pending Approval section. This way, you can see at a glance which teams have approved the Variants.
Can I still post comments or leave feedback?
Yes, you can still give feedback directly to the Persado team, or collaborate with your internal team, through Portal in the Comments sections. Use the new ‘Start Revision’ feature when you are ready to formally request an update.
Filtering by Team
Click "More" on your Experiment list filters and then select "Teams." You can now view various teams you collaborate with to review and approve Variants.
Not seeing your teams listed appropriately? Reach out to your Persado admin to have them configure the necessary teams and members.
When you click the checkbox next to a team, your list narrows to the Experiments that team is involved in. You can then further filter to view Experiments pending approval, so you can easily see which teams have yet to approve certain Variants.
The Teams feature also streamlines your commenting and collaboration. Teams contain all respective individual team members, so you don't have to @ mention all individuals one by one when collaborating and providing feedback. Simply @ the team name in the comment box instead.
Helpful Tip
You can save your selected search filters for future use by clicking the "Save As" button. This way, you only have to select the filter set to apply the desired filters.
Save a filter like above to easily see which Variants are still pending approval by the Legal Team.
