You’ve approved the Variants. Now what? If you’re not using any integrations, you’ll manually set up and deploy your Variants to your audience. Let’s walk through the tactical steps for 2 common types of campaigns.
Keep in mind that for manual deployments, you’ll generally follow your business as usual (BAU) deployment steps. Nothing fancy here!
If you’re interested in less manual options for deployment, connect with your Persado representative to discuss our Reporting Integration with Data Pipeline. This integration allows you to generate Variants, run your campaign in your marketing platform, and seamlessly get your result analysis back.
Predictive Content Manual Deployment
For Predictive Content manual deployments:
Set up Variants for tracking the same as you would for any other A/B test.
The control and the Persado Variants should have equal splits across your audience.
Once your team is ready to review and validate results, please attach the report for the Persado team in Portal using the comments section on the particular campaign. This report should contain (at a minimum) delivers, clicks, and opens for each individual Variant and the control.
Drag files into the box to attach them, and then click “Comment” when you’re all set.
Full Experiment Manual Deployment
Full Experiments consist of 2 deployment phases: Exploration, which typically send 8 to 16 Variants plus your control, and Broadcast, which sends 1 to 4 Variants plus your control.
Just like Predictive Content deployments, the reports you share should contain (at a minimum) delivers, clicks, and opens for each individual Variant and the control.
For the Exploration phase:
The control and the Persado Variants should have equal splits across your audience.
Share your report as an attachment in the comments section of the campaign when ready. The Persado team will share a suggestion on how long you should wait to share results with us and keep the test live (e.g., the minimum length of time the Variants should stay in market to reach statistical significance).
For the Broadcast phase:
Set this up the same way you would set up an A/B test.
The control and the Persado Variants should have equal splits across your audience.
Share your report as an attachment in the comments section of the campaign when your team is ready to review and validate results.
