Once you’ve completed a Dynamic Motivation campaign, you’ll want to see the financial impact of the campaign and performance summaries per campaign metric. This guide takes you through how to review the results of the content you’ve deployed and get the most from these learnings.
If you're new to Dynamic Motivation, keep the following in mind about how we gather data for the below reporting, as it may be different from how we've worked together before:
Dynamic motivation algorithms rely on daily reporting data for ongoing optimization - Persado uses sessions for performance reporting and optimization.
Conversions are tracked by impression-based attribution, which allows us to account for all conversions, even those from customers who navigate out of the cart page and arrive at the checkout page later via other means.
View Available Reports
To filter your content to see only those with results ready to view, you can click the ‘Reports Available’ option on the left-hand toolbar (or through the Filter icon in the ‘Stage’ column). Click on a campaign to see its specific results. You can also access reports via email and in-app notifications if you have them enabled, once results are published.
Dynamic Motivation Reports
Once in a campaign report, you can see the financial impact of the campaign, how the Persado messages are performing compared to the control, as well as detailed performance for specific metrics such as clicks and conversions.
Dashboard
You’ll automatically open to the Dashboard of your report. The first thing you’ll see is the Financial Summary. Here, you can see incremental conversions, incremental revenue, and return on ad spend (ROAS) comparisons between Persado-made content’s performance and the control group’s.
Scrolling down, you’ll be able to view the projected value of using Dynamic Motivation over the course of the next 12 months, along with insights gained from your campaign. You can adjust the audience split to understand how scaling the solution across your audience will drive incremental revenue/ROAS, and learn which emotional tags most resonated with your audience.
Metrics Tabs
Back at the top of the Dashboard, you’ll see a few different metrics tabs next to Dashboard, the exact number and type depending on your campaign (e.g., Revenue, Clicks, Conversions, etc.). You can toggle between these tabs to view the different KPIs.
Under each tab, you’ll see:
Charts showing the campaign’s performance across various KPIs. The main charts you’ll likely want to view (which you can toggle chart settings to switch between) are:
All Time Performance
Over Time Metric Performance
Over Time Serving
Once a campaign has had at least 2 rounds of results uploaded, you can also view metrics performance across a set time period.
A direct comparison of Persado content’s performance compared to the control in the selected KPI.
Each Variant’s contribution and performance in the selected KPI.
Leverage These Learnings
So, what are some other ways you can leverage these insights to your advantage, both now and in the future?
Since you’re able to see which emotions are resonating most, you’ll understand the type of language that encourages your audience to convert and, ultimately, order more.
Emotions/sentiment may change over time and our platform enables you to monitor how these trends shift.
Over time, particularly for Shopping Cart use cases, we may want to remove or introduce new Variants based on the language we see working and use less of what's not working for ongoing optimization. Our platform easily allows for this optimization.
If you have any questions about your results, how to leverage them, or how to read them, feel free to reach out to your Persado team member for help at any point!
