Our new ‘Users to Notify’ field in Portal allows you to define who receives email notifications for Variant review and approval for each campaign. This means that any Portal admin user can easily configure who needs to receive Variants notifications so no reviewers slip through the cracks!
Check out this short tutorial on how to use this field.
FAQs
Where do I find the ‘Users to Notify’ field?
This field appears in your Content Request form, when you are requesting an Experiment or Predictive Content.
Who is populated into the ‘Users to Notify’ field?
This field is populated based on user notification settings from all non-Persado users.
Is there a way I can obtain a list of ALL Portal users for my company?
Yes! Please reach out to your Persado representative, and we can pull a CSV of all users and their permission levels.
Can I adjust who is included in this ‘Users to Notify’ field?
Yes, if you are a Portal admin user, you can add or remove users who are populated by default. You can edit this field anytime you want, even after you've submitted your request or while working on drafts. This allows you to add or remove any users for your brand based on the needs of the particular campaign!
Note: If the field is left empty, Portal will follow each user's notification preferences.
Is there a way to indicate that I don't want ANYONE tagged when Variants are released?
Yes! There is now a checkbox you can toggle off if you don't want anyone to be notified. Simply leave this box unchecked if you don't want anyone to be notified when Variants are made available.
You can find this box next to the 'Users to Notify' field when you are submitting a new content request, and also on the "Details" stage of a submitted Experiment or a saved draft.
Where can I change my settings for whether I am populated by default?
In Portal, navigate to ‘Notification Preferences.’
In your preferences, turn on notifications for particular activities. For example, you can turn on real-time notifications when Variants are ready for approval or when a comment has been logged on the Variants page.
Note: If a user changes their notification setting for “Variants for Approval” ON or OFF, this will trigger the user to be included or excluded from only newly submitted Experiments going forward. It does not have a retroactive power (i.e., for already submitted Experiments).

Is there a way to check who Variants were released to after the fact?
Yes! Click on the carrot symbol on your Variants page to view approval status. Here you can see and audit all the users coming from the "Users to Notify" field you had edited.
Note that users marked with a (C) are Customers (i.e., members of your team). You may also see users marked with a (P) to indicate the Persado users who were notified based on their preferences; this is not something that you can control, and is included only for awareness.
