This month, we’re rolling out 2 additional features for self-service users that will help keep campaigns organized as you scale: the ability to add deploy dates when creating Variants, and the ability to archive campaigns.
Jump to each feature below to learn more.
Deploy Dates
As you work on more and more campaigns with Persado, we recommend keeping them organized with projected deploy dates. This is especially helpful for campaigns that need to be rescheduled so you can give your team a view of what is projected to be sent and when.
With this release, you’ll now be able to add and edit deploy dates for any self-service campaigns in your queue, regardless of status.
For campaigns that are ‘Pending Approval’ or ‘In Deployment,’ you can easily update this by clicking the pencil icon to edit the ‘Deploy Date’ column.
For campaigns in the ‘Content Generated’ stage (that is, when content has been generated but not yet approved for deployment), you can easily add deploy dates on the same page where you’re editing and creating Variants. This can help keep Variant approvals moving on schedule, as your team will be able to view the projected deployment for generated content.
Navigate to ‘Content Generated.’ Click on the name of the campaign where you want to add a deploy date.
You’ll now see a field for ‘Deploy Date.’ Click ‘Select Date’ and a calendar widget will appear. Select the deployment time here and click ‘OK.’ All deployment times will be in the time zone configured for your account. if you don't need a specific deploy time, you can leave this at 00:00.
When the campaign moves to the next stage, the deploy date will be maintained. Keep in mind that you can edit it any time if needed!
Archiving Campaigns
Previously, you could rename or delete campaigns to keep your queue organized. You can also now archive campaigns as well! Unlike deleting, archived campaigns will be sorted into an ‘Archived’ status for future reference if needed. This can be helpful if you end up running multiple generations for the same intended campaign, as you can archive your drafts that didn’t make it to deployment to keep your queue tidy.
At this time, archiving is only available for campaigns that have not yet launched. If a campaign has launched and/or results are already in, then they can only be renamed.
Click on the three dots to the left of the campaign you’d like to archive. Then, click on the option to ‘Archive’ the campaign.
A reminder message will appear, noting that you cannot reverse this action once completed. When you’re all set, click ‘Archive.’
The campaign will automatically move into the ‘Archived’ stage for future reference if needed. For your convenience, the campaign will automatically be renamed to denote its status (e.g., from “Experiment A” to “Experiment A_arch1,” “Experiment A_arch2”).
