Moving approved content into an ESP/platform for deployment used to be a manual step someone owned after Variants were approved: they’d have to push the content to the integration and then communicate this update to their team. With our latest Studio update, teams now approve once and the campaign is automatically sent to the platform—and everyone who needs to know is notified automatically so they can proceed with configuring campaigns for deployment.
Read more on how to leverage this feature. If you’ve sent approved content to your ESP/platform via our managed services, you’ll already be familiar with this capability!
How to Auto-Deploy Variants
Before you get started, you must first configure an integration with the Persado team and confirm you’d like the send to platform feature turned on. Once this has been set up, your Project Manager will add a new ‘Deployment Solution’ field to your content request form. Every integration is specific to your platform, so make sure to check with your Persado representative for assistance as needed. |
Log into Portal to generate or improve content as usual by selecting your desired channel and entering the campaign details.
In the ‘Campaign Details’ section, a new field for ‘Deployment Solution’ will be available. Select your desired integration from the dropdown and continue populating the form as usual. If you do not want approved Variants to automatically be sent to your platform/ESP, leave this field blank.
Review and edit your desired content as usual. You cannot revise your Deployment Solution after you’ve already saved content and clicked ‘Next,’ so double check that your selection is correct before moving forward with approvals!
Once your content is approved, Portal will automatically trigger the approved content to be sent into your platform based on the chosen solution's configuration. In the ‘Setup’ tab of your campaign, you’ll see details on the Platform Solution, Variant weights, deployment status, and logs.
If any issues occur with automatic transfer of content to your platform, an error message will appear so you can check the logs to determine the best next steps. Send any comments or questions using the ‘Request Persado’s Help’ button, and we’ll be in touch.
From here, proceed BAU to configure your campaign for deployment to your audience.
Pro-tip: If you have dynamic variables in your content, make sure to follow our standard best practices for QAing these before clicking ‘Approve’ and deploying to your audience. If the dynamic syntax is correct in each Variant, then there shouldn't be any issues! |
How to Set Up Campaign Readiness Notifications
To be notified in real-time when a campaign is sent to your platform/ESP, navigate to ‘My Preferences’ to configure your email notifications.
Make sure ‘Experiment Solution Deployed’ is toggled ON to receive deployment notifications. You’re all set!
