Once you’ve launched a Dynamic campaign, you’ll want to see the impact of the campaign and performance summaries per campaign metric. This guide takes you through how to review the results of the content deployed and get the most from these learnings.
View Available Reports
To filter your content to see only those with results ready to view, you can click the ‘Reports Available’ option on the left-hand toolbar (or through the Filter icon in the ‘Stage’ column). Click on a campaign to see its specific results. You can also access reports via email and in-app notifications if you have them enabled, once results are published.
Report Details
Once in a campaign report, you can see the impact of the campaign, how the Persado messages are performing compared to the control, as well as detailed performance for specific metrics.
Dashboards
Dashboards populate once 3 results uploads have been populated for the Dynamic Campaign.
The first thing you’ll see is the Performance Summary. Here, you can see incremental conversions and incremental click comparisons between Persado-made content’s performance and the control group’s.
Scrolling down, you’ll be able to view the projected value for the campaign over your selected span on time (90 days, 6 months, or 1 year), along with insights gained from your campaign.
Last but not least, like traditional Persado reports, you’ll see insights as to which types of language tags were served the most to your audience, so you can understand what resonates.
Metrics Tabs
You’ll see a few different metrics tabs next to Dashboard, the exact number and type depending on your campaign (e.g., Clicks, Conversions, Quality Starts, etc.). You can toggle between these tabs to view the different KPIs. Once a campaign has had at least 2 rounds of results uploaded, you’ll be able to filter results by time period or set a custom date range.
The main chart you’ll see can provide a summary of all-time performance. This can be especially helpful for review with internal stakeholders.
In the same chart, you’ll be able to view performance over specific periods of time and toggle between KPIs.
You’ll also be able to view how the Persado group of Dynamic Variants is performing against the control based on your selected metrics.
Why is reporting structured as Persado vs. Control?
Dynamic campaigns are designed to measure performance as Control vs. all of the Persado Content Dynamically Serving. We refer to this as the Control Group and Persado Group. Unlike in traditional marketing campaigns or A/B tests, we’re not looking for a single best winner; we’re dynamically optimizing the content over time based on real-time engagement from your audience. Using our automated algorithms, Brand Content Strategy and Data Science experts monitor content from both groups (Control and Persado) and recommend removing or refreshing the content as needed, so we find it more impactful to share group-level reporting.
What other insights are coming for Dynamic Reporting?
We’re working on adding the following to this reporting—stay tuned!
Timeline views of periods of learning vs. optimization and how groups of Variants (low, medium, and best-performing) are distributed over time
Most viewed content tags and top-performing language (with insights into how this compares to your industry)
Most important user attributes
Leverage These Learnings
So, what are some other ways you can leverage these insights to your advantage, both now and in the future?
Since you’re able to see which emotions are resonating most, you’ll understand the type of language that encourages your audience to convert and, ultimately, order more.
Emotions/sentiment may change over time and our platform enables you to monitor how these trends shift.
Over time, we may want to remove or introduce new Variants based on the language we see working and use less of what's not working for ongoing optimization. Our platform easily allows for this.
If you have any questions about your results or how to read them, feel free to reach out to your Persado team member for help at any point.
