We have 2 new Portal features to share with you this month, and an improvement to Sigma reporting. Let's dive in!
New Feature: Document Library
You can now share and store documents within Portal using the Document Library! For example, you may want to share your brand guidelines, a results file that includes data from multiple campaigns, or your campaign plan/calendar with the Persado team. Persado can also share files with you here.
Navigate to the Document Library in Portal by clicking the document icon in the top right corner of the screen.
Simply click ‘Upload File’ to add to the Document Library. Once a file is uploaded, you have a few options in the ‘Actions’ column:
Download file: Use this option to share with non-Portal users or edit offline.
Share file: @ mention Portal users and Persado teammates to let them know a file is available.
Delete file: This removes the file from the Document Library instantly.
Keep an eye out: In a coming release, the Document Library will support links! This means you’ll be able to have your own repository of online Google Docs that you can share with other users.
New Feature: Content Translations
Content Translations are now available for non-English languages on the Variants page in Portal. This means that in case you are not a native speaker of a given language but you still want to review the Variants, you will be able to fully comprehend them and provide relevant feedback.
Click the ‘Translations’ toggle to turn this feature on. For text channels, the translated Variant appears under each original Variant. For content-rich channels, the translated Variant appears on the right side in a vertical alignment.
If you’d like to see the translation history for a set of Variants, you can click the gear icon and check off ‘History.’ Your Variant view will update to display the prior version (in red strikethrough) and the latest version (in green).
Portal Updates
Export Performance Reporting Data
You’re probably familiar with the embedded Performance Reporting Dashboards in Portal that the Persado team uses to share in-depth information on incremental revenue, return on ad sales, and more. You now have the ability to export the data from these dashboards so you can work with the data offline.
Locate the data you’re interested in and click the 3 vertical dots on its tile. Then you can select ‘Export’ and choose your desired download format. This is applicable in all elements included in a report (graphs, figures, data tables).
