Persado’s self-service capability allows you to use Persado’s language models to generate high-performing, on-brand language recommendations in real-time. It leverages Persado’s Motivation AI knowledge base to generate words and phrases that are proven to motivate consumers to convert. Our knowledge base contains the equivalent of 800,000+ A/B tests and is able to provide the most accurate content performance prediction in the industry, so you know how a message will perform before you even launch in market.

This quick-start guide will link you to everything you need to know to begin generating content on your own.

Step 1: Complete Initial Account Set Up

When you’re getting started with self-service, your Account Team will make sure that your Persado Portal account is configured to your user needs and your brand voice. We’ll just need you to provide a few things outlined in this article to get things rolling, like user names and style guide materials.

Step 2: Leverage Brand Voice Capabilities

Once you’ve provided your brand voice materials, the Persado team will build your custom language model. Learn how to review your brand voice settings and configure language exclusions here.

Step 3: Generate and Improve Content

First, you’ll use Persado Portal to generate content from scratch or improve the copy you already have in market for any digital channel (e.g., email subject lines, whole emails, web, SMS, and online ads). You can:

  • Generate content for any digital channel starting from control text (i.e., the copy you’d send as usual)

  • Generate content from scratch using key phrases that reflect your brand style and campaign offer.

Learn more about generating content here. There is no cap on how much content you generate (or the number of users in your account) - create as much as you like!

Step 4: Adjust your Content

Content is generated in seconds for your review. This content includes:

  • Multiple versions (i.e., Variants) of your requested copy to choose from

  • The predicted performance score for each Variant based on its ability to drive customer action

  • Brand Alignment scores to show how well a Variant aligns with the model’s understanding of your brand.

  • Language and emotion attributes associated with each Variant.

There are a variety of ways you can adjust this content in Persado Portal. The most important thing to keep in mind is that how you revise your content is up to you and your business priorities—and we have tools along the way to help you decide what to deploy! Learn how to make adjustments here.

Step 5: Finalize Content and Insights

Using insights such as Performance Prediction Scores and Brand Alignment scores to guide your review, you’ll select which Variants you’d like to deploy in market with your team.

Portal allows you to collaborate with your team to comment on and update Variants so you can centralize your review and ensure all the right people have approved. Learn more about reviewing and approving Variants here.

Step 6: Deploy Content to your Digital Channels

You can easily push content to your desired channel either manually (using copy/paste) or through one of our various integrations. Persado integrates with leading technology partners like SFMC, Adobe, Snowflake, Amperity, Braze, Optimove, and others. We can also support your vendor of choice for email, SMS, web delivery, and more via the Persado API which is platform agnostic.

Step 7: View Results and Repeat!

Portal centralizes results for each deployment so you and your team can assess performance against your KPIs and insights any time. We can process results with or without an integration.
